Are you involved in any other campus organizations/Groups?

I am a SACNAS (Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science) Charlotte Secretary, ABSGS (Association of Biological Sciences Graduate Students) Senator, and BGO (Biology Graduate Student Outreach) member.

What is your favorite thing to do in Charlotte?

Bar hopping. Another thing I like to do is try minority owned restaurants. I’m a bit of a foodie.

Where were you before moving to Charlotte?

I’m from Winston Salem, NC, and completed my Undergraduate at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC.
